When killing becomes child’s play

For years, it was suspected of Israel of having secret missiles. And here is the confirmation. Last Monday, for the first time, the Israeli army unveiled a new TV missile system – guided during the successful attack in Lebanon and the Gaza Strip. Weapons brilliant by their technology … and by their cynicism.

See the eyes of his victim
Called Tamouz, the missile has a range of 25 km and can penetrate armored vehicles. It can also launch several types of warheads. The missile is launched from an armored vehicle of two launchers, each of which is able to transport three missiles.

Tamuz uses advanced technology based on an optical and electronic camera that transmits the image of its objective to operators who can manually direct the missile to the target. Thus, videos unveiled by the newspaper The Jerusalem Post show how the death machine operator directs his weapon towards a young boy (see scene 2:15 of the video at the bottom of the page) … and I save you the rest. But we must not be surprised: on the other side, we should not feel differently than in front of a game console. We can only wonder not without thrill, how far this sinister application of technology can go … and what is the price.

At what price?
According to the newspaper The Jerusalem Post, one of the reasons why the missile has been removed from the list of secret weapons is that, since Tsahal has decided to upgrade its stock with new weapons systems, it has been implicitly agreed that the army will not invest, as long as the Tamouz is not exhausted. And as we do not know exactly how exactly the army has it, we can only imagine what awaits Lebanon and Palestine. Without forgetting the Israelis who recently came out to demonstrate against the high cost of life.
