A major change has just been made to the management of the second national channel, Watania 2. The Chairman and CEO of the establishment of Tunisian television, Chokri Ben Nessir, announced yesterday, the end of the functions of Rostom Cherif at the head of the public channel.
This decision was made public by an official note issued on June 29, in which it is also specified that Majid Meraïhi will now ensure the management of Watania 2. The latter combines this new responsibility with its current functions.
No official justification has been given for the dismissal of Rostom Cherif, who has been running the chain for several months.
