Three teachers of the Khaznadar high school were asphyxiated after inhaling gas resulting from the explosion of toxic chemical substances in the laboratory of the educational establishment, yesterday Monday, February 19.
According to the Secretary General of the Senior Secondary Education Syndicate in Bardo, they were transported to the hospital to receive the necessary care.
The same source said that these substances are dangerous and that their period of validity has expired. “This situation has been reported to the delegation of education since 2013, and correspondence has been sent to this purpose”.
Speaking on the waves of Diwan FM, the same source added that the emissions resulting from the explosion of these chemicals get worse, and a decision was made to close the rooms close to the laboratory pending other decisions which will be taken by the supervision authority.
