The National Guard units in the Grombalia region, governorate of Nabeul, managed to challenge three foreigners involved in the traffic and illegal storage of subsidized drugs, according to a statement from the General Directorate of the National Guard.
The press release specifies that a meticulous security operation has enabled the seizure of a quantity of subsidized Tunisian drugs for smuggling. It turned out that these drugs were prepared to be sold out of legal frameworks, in order to make illicit profits.
The Directorate General of the National Guard added that after consultation with the public prosecutor, the latter authorized the taking of the legal measures necessary against the arrested persons.
