The wandering monkey, who was walking from house to house in search of food, was finally captured.
After about two weeks spent moving between several districts of the capital, the wandering monkey was captured in the evening of Thursday January 12 at the Cité El Khadhra and handed over to the Belvédère zoo.
During an intervention on Mosaique FM, today, the director and veterinarian of the zoo, Maryam Dekhil, said that the monkey had been placed in quarantine while waiting to join the other monkeys.
Above all, she specified that the monkey bore traces of violence and that it was treated accordingly.
