This is how we fell, with a lot of astonishment, on an article from, however, very serious, San Francisco Chronicle, evoking the discovery of pornographic videos in the computer files of Bin Laden.
This information, reported first by Reuters, was “released” by civil servants who have seized five computers, 10 hard drives and dozens of USB keys, in the house where Ben Laden lived.
Obviously, when reading this “scoop”, we can only ask these questions: for what purpose was this information released? Why do we continue to dirty the image of Bin Laden, even after death, especially in the eyes of the Arab world? Beyond Bin Laden, is it now Islam that we target?
Recall that in 2002 Bin Laden had sent a letter to the American people in which he denounced the laxity of the West on the issue of sexual mores.
