An individual being the subject of several research mandates and sentenced to 70 years in prison, died today in Msaken after a police pursuit.
An investigation has been opened by the prosecution today, the spokesman for the Sousse Tribunal of Sousse, Wissam Cherif said. The investigation must shed light on the circumstances of the death of a man sought by justice, following an exchange of fire with the security forces in the city of Msake, in the morning of Saturday, November 2, 2024.
The individual in question, being the subject of several research opinions and sentenced to more than 70 years in prison was at the center of a security operation aimed at arresting him. During the police pursuit he was injured in the leg but died in the hospital.
