The body of a young man, who worked in the delivery of meals at home, was found on the peripheral road of Nabeul this Thursday, August 22, 2024.

According to first information reported by Jawhara FM, he was the victim of an assault by strangers last night, having undergone a stabbing attack and body mutilation.
According to the same source, surveys and investigations are still underway, but the first data attest that the victim was only delivering a meal commissioned by the authors of this heinous crime.
He would have been brutally attacked, stabbed in several parts of his body and left by the road before regaining his tragic end following a severe hemorrhage.
In Tunisia, delivery people, especially those working in the delivery of meals, are often faced with various risks. As in the mentioned case, deliverers can be targets for criminals who benefit from their vulnerability when they move alone, often at late hours and in little frequented areas.
Unfortunately, in many cases, delivery people are precarious or self -employed workers, which means that they do not always benefit from adequate social protections in the event of an accident, illness or aggression.
The delivery sector and poorly regulated in Tunisia. Its regulation is essential to protect delivery people, guarantee fair working conditions, and ensure the safety and quality of services for consumers. Without a suitable regulatory framework, delivery people will continue to be exposed to significant risks, and platform practices could remain inequitable and non -transparent.
