A sentence of a month in suspended prison sentence was claimed this Wednesday, October 8, against the former Tunisian fever Amina Sboui, tried in France for having denounced the police an imaginary assault by Islamists in Paris. The judgment will be announced today.
On July 6, “Amina Femen”, as Tunisians call her, published a post on her personal Facebook account, reporting that she was attacked by five people.
According to her, she was insulted and then shaved her eyebrows and her hair, telling her that she “did not deserve the beauty that Allah (gave her)”. According to her statement, she was also threatened with rape.
The investigation revealed that it was only a fabrication. On September 25, she ended up admitting to a “letter to the prosecutor” that she invented her assault, according to Liberation, and asked for forgiveness.
