23 people, in connection with the burglaries and acts of vandalism that occurred recently at the level of the technical rooms of the Tunisian Society of Steelurgy (Elfoulaedh) in Menzel Bourguiba, were arrested and placed in detention.
It was the prosecution near the court of first instance in Bizerte, which authorized, this Thursday, April 25, 2024, their police custody.
“The acts of flight and sabotage perpetrated twice in a company factory, concerned a number of machines in operation,” said the official spokesperson for said court and first substitute of the Attorney General, Seifeddine Abidi, said in a declaration to the TAP agency.
“The alleged custody intervened after the opening of an investigation by the judicial police in Menzel Bourguiba, from a complaint filed by the management of the company El Fouladh,” he said.
