The overall objective of the action is to democratize the access of 30 women from the Grand Tunis to economic knowledge and to ensure their economic emancipation.

As part of the Medtown project, funded by the IEV CTF MED program and the Spanish cooperation project “to make the conditions for working working care II worthy”, the Tunisian Center for Social Entrepreneurship-TCSE launches a call for candidates for cooperatives led by women based in the Grand Tunis.

In total, 30 women for at least three cooperatives will benefit from personalized support, aligned with the needs of the cooperative, to improve their entrepreneurial and digital skills and allow them to have better access to markets and public spaces for the promotion of their products.

The action aims to initiate women entrepreneurs and workers in the public sphere, to strengthen their digital skills, to allow them to be financially autonomous in a sustainable manner and to increase the visibility of their products and services offline and online. Cooperatives are invited to apply before February 22.

Medtown is an initiative focused on the potential between social and solidarity economy agents (ESS), citizens and local authorities to co-produce social policies allowing to combat poverty, inequalities, social exclusion and environmental non-durability.

The objective is to strengthen local resilience and promote transition to fairer, resilient and sustainable companies in the Euro-Mediterranean region.
