Friday, October 22 was a crazy day in the Tunisian media. Whether radios or web magazines, they followed the Montassar Ben Rejob, the 5 -year -old child with the 5 -year -old child, three days earlier.
We have, ourselves, published information from a journalist witnessing one of the arrests of the two false kidnappers of Montassar.
This information was probably misinterpreted by some who believed that those arrested were the real criminals.
In the meantime, false information has arrived at the victim’s home. The joy of the family let believe Mosaique FM that the child had been found. And many other web media like Tunivision and BusinessNews, resumed false information and removed it a few hours later.
On Facebook, it was even announced that a video of Montassar at home would be published shortly. None of that was true.
Since then, all the media have been checking and returning their information before disseminating it to avoid giving false hopes to the family and all those who feel concerned by the case.
The next information will be that of the reunion, hopefully, for Montassar and his family.
