Is it the wind that strongly blew yesterday on the capital? Is this a technical problem? A human error? The fact remains that this morning, rue de Hollande, between the French-to-consulate embassy and BIAT, almost experienced a drama.
Between 8:45 am and 9:00 am, at a time when everyone went to work, a crane, installed on a construction site on Bourguiba avenue, fell, on the side of rue de Hollande, on the metro cable partially cutting it from it, and when seven people passed through the work. These passers -by was afraid of their lives, especially a lady, forty, who narrowly escaped death. Two other people fell in shock.
Metro traffic has been stopped. And because of this incident, it was a real breeze at the level of the Republic metro station, which has become terminus for the occasion.
When we arrived at the scene, around 9:15 am, the crane had been released from the track and the site workers were putting in place the sheet metal palisade and arranging things.
How will the transtu face this incident?
