Tuesday, September 30, 2025, a serious road accident involved several vehicles in the industrial zone of El Aguila in Gafsa, making several dozen injured among the workers.
The accident, which occurred on Tuesday morning, concerned a truck, a bus transporting workers, a minibus and a rent. According to civil protection, 33 people were injured, all employees of a dates packaging plant.
The victims were transported to the Gafsa-university hospital center. The managing director, Houssem Friâni, said that they have received the necessary care and that their condition is stable.
