Egypt has just experienced unforgettable moments: the uprising of a people and the dismissal of the dictator Mubarak. As for the Tunisian people, Facebook played a preponderant role in the organization of demonstrations and the circulation of information.

For this reason, a young thirties, feeling indebted, decided to appoint her newborn, a little girl, “Facebook” Jamal Ibrahim.

The news was published in the Egyptian newspaper al-Ahram on February 18. “The whole family, friends and neighbors of the region gathered around the baby to express their continuous support for the revolution initiated on Facebook” writes the newspaper.

The little girl has also received many gifts from young people delighted with her birth and especially from the chosen first name.

Although surely does not suspect that its social network would one day become the indisputable tool for the culmination of the eastern and northern African revolutions of recent months, the famous CEO of Facebook Mark Zuckenberg can be proud of the result of its small invention. The fact remains that, even as grateful as we can be, named “Facebook”, “Twitter” or other should not be very pleasant.
