A nine -year -old child died in conditions that are not elucidated. His parents, who operated on him a kind of exorcism are the first suspects in this case.
A nine -year -old child died in Djerba under conditions deemed mysterious. An investigation was opened to determine the exact causes of his death, as confirmed this Thursday, February 1, spokesperson for the Médenine Lassaâd El Hori court, in a statement granted to IFM.
According to Lassaâd El Hor, this child died after being exorcised by his parents. The investigation and report by the medical examiner will however determine the exact causes of the child’s death, he said.
The child, suffering for three days, would then have decided to use alleged sand sacred to cure him. His condition having not improved this is where they then decide to transport it to the hospital.
Unfortunately, the child had already died. The hospital then warned the police. Parents were subjected to interrogation and according to Lassaâd El Hori, the father admitted that he had tried to heal his child by using methods drawn from popular beliefs, thinking that he was possessed.
