It is an unusual story that has recently been controversial in Switzerland but also in other European countries. Indeed, the case was reported by several media like 20 minutes and Sputnik.
It all started when this Swiss grandmother met, on social networks, a young Tunisian then aged 18. The relationship progressed, the septuagenarian then decided to move to Tunisia to meet her prince!
The stay lasted five days and a marriage proposal was filed at the Swiss Embassy on the spot, said 20 minutes.
“We immediately recognized ourselves at the airport. It did not kiss me because it is prohibited. He took me to a house 250 kilometers from Tunis. We shared the same room. His family lives from the sale of goats and sheep. He didn’t want me to go. I didn’t want to return to Switzerland. He calls me “my life”. I can’t live without him. I want to marry him. ” would have admitted the Swiss.
On April 26, a Swiss court, representing the higher judicial authority, opposed this marriage deemed “a sentimental scam for migratory purposes.”.
