This scene happened yesterday instead Pasteur. An agent directs traffic when a taxi, ignoring the order to stop decides to go to the red light. Angry, the agent strikes the vehicle with his hand, signaling the taximan to stop. The latter runs, not to comply, but rather to request accounts from the agent.
Then begins a big argument between the two! The rudenesses fuse everywhere between the two under the dumbfounded gaze of a policewoman. This decides to intervene by demanding on the part of the taximan a little more respect for the uniform and for what it represents.
The driver’s replica is scathing, arguing the fact that he also carries a uniform (a djellaba). He is made to understand that his outfit is not regulatory for a taxi driver, but he does not care. He even felt touched when she advised her to come out before driving!
Here, the argument ignites to the point that the taximan, carried away by anger, treats the policewoman “dirty …”. She replies by tearing her plate and throwing it into her face. The latter, feeling complications, calls friends to rescue … friends who will not come.
Meanwhile, the taximan will leave without his papers and refusing to apologize for the hard words he may have had against the young woman.
This news item says a lot about the degradation of the relationship between the Tunisian and the police.
