The National IT security agency (ANSI) has published a very critical vulnerability that was discovered in the Google Chrome web browser.
In its alert, the ANSI specifies that “the exploitation of this fault could allow a remote attacker, by inciting his victim to visit a web page specifically designed and published on the net, to execute arbitrary code”.
The execution of the arbitrary code, which designates the capacity of an attacker to execute any order or any code of his choice on a target machine or in a target process, will lead to a loss of confidentiality and integrity of the user, warns the ANSI, in a press release.
The agency thus invited Internet users to update Chrome with version 108.0.5359.94, for Mac, Linux and Windows and 108.0.5359.79 for Android.
