It was thought that a big step had been taken to a stop of violence after the acceptance of Muammar Gaddafi of the roadmap proposed by the delegation of the African Union led by the South African president, Jacob Zuma.
But that was without counting on the revolutionaries. The latter, in fact, refused this roadmap on Monday because it in no way provides the departure of Muammar Gaddafi.
The confusion even extends to NATO which denies having received an official document or declaration from the African delegation requesting a bombing stop against the Kadhafists.
NATO therefore intends to continue its strikes against the Kadhafist forces pending a real ceasefire adopted by both parties.
The Libyan conflict now turns to dead end and a ceasefire agreement can only be done if it involves the political departure of Gaddafi; Among other things, a demand for several countries support members of the coalition.
