The last thing that Tunisians are told revolves around the brothel of Abdallah Gueche, whose elements, probably Islamist, tried to close by force.
A few days ago, these elements almost caused, near Zarkoun street and the impasse Sidi Abdallah Gueche, where these women work, bloody clashes, and had to be pushed by the population, the merchants of the medina and the surroundings of the brothel.
Since Abdallah Guech has taken over these activities, but it is now endowed with a large metal door which protects it in the event of danger and, the most important, the old plate indicating the dead end in question has been purely and simply removed, since the name “Sidi” (saint) Abdallah Gueche, according to those who dispute the existence of this brothel, cannot be associated with such a place.
The dead end is now without name. And the women who work have, it seems, their little idea behind their heads are at least what everyone is currently telling: renamed the dead end, the impasse Leïla Trabelsi or Leïla Ben Ali.
