On Friday November 28, 2025, the Sousse justice system handed down a four-month prison sentence against a young user of the TikTok platform, known under the pseudonym “TiKToKoz”. The decision follows the broadcast of videos and images considered to undermine public morals and decency.
According to judicial sources reported by Mosaique fm, the criminal chamber of the Sousse 2 first instance court had initially issued an incarceration warrant against the young woman, aged around twenty, for several charges. These accusations include in particular incitement to debauchery, violation of good morals and the exhibition of obscene content.
Content deemed contrary to good morals
The local court therefore confirmed the four-month prison sentence, a sanction applied directly against the accused, who had been in detention since the initial warrant was issued.
The case concerns the publication of videos and photos on the TikTok platform deemed non-compliant with the ethical and moral standards of Tunisian society. The incriminated content was described as shocking to the public, due to its explicit nature and its distribution to a large audience on social networks.
Dissemination of false information
Furthermore, the young woman is also the subject of charges of deception and dissemination of false information after having shared on social networks a false message claiming that she was the victim of a murder perpetrated by nationals of a neighboring country. This false report led the authorities to include it in the judicial aspect relating to the simulation of a crime.
