The Ministry of the Interior announces, in a press release published this Wednesday, September 17 on its Facebook page, that a person was killed in Mornaguia by a lost bullet fired by the agents of the National Guard.
According to the press release, the National Guard hunted a car driving at high speed, at the dawn on Wednesday, without specifying the number of occupants. The driver who refused to stop at three checkpoints, a chase was committed in vain.
The agents of the National Guard then used basement fire before aiming at the wheels of the vehicle. “A lost bullet, however, reached one of the people aboard the vehicle, causing his death,” said the press release
On September 11, one person was injured by a bullet that had turned into a chase with the National Guard at Ariana.
The Ministry of the Interior warns the drivers again that they must comply with the agents’ orders and that in the opposite they will act in accordance with the law.
