An unusual flight took place at Monastir airport, leaving the authorities and internet users perplexed.
The incident, which occurred at the end of last weekend, was revealed by Farid Ben Jha, spokesperson for the MONASTIR and MAHDIA courts, during a radio program. It all starts when the owner of the suitcase, disconcerted by his disappearance, decides to report the flight. Fortunately, his precaution to equip his luggage with a GPS tracer turned out to be saving.
The security agents, helped by the contact details transmitted by the aircraft, were quick to locate the suitcase. Surprise ! It was in a hotel in the tourist area of Monastir, in the hands of a tourist. After having opened it, she had not hesitated to appropriate clothes and perfumes. By realizing that a GPS had betrayed her, she hastened to throw the aircraft in the hotel garden, hoping to escape any pursuit.
Unfortunately for her, the story did not stop there. The authorities quickly recovered stolen affairs and returned them to their owner. The latter, in a surge of generosity or weariness, decided to give up any legal action. But the public prosecutor, he chose not to let go of the case and opened an investigation.
