Funny discovery than that made by citizens under the closing of the cemetery of Ben Arous, where plastic boxes, used for freezing products, contained embryos and human fetuses, as well as bags containing plastic gloves and test tubes, reports the Tunisian weekly al Akhbar in its edition of today.

On this Sunday, April 10, members of the Region Revolution Protection Committee went there to make the findings of this macabre discovery. And according to the goalkeeper of said cemetery, these embryos were exhumed by citizens who came to bury one of their own, in a grave reopened for this purpose and where these embryos were.

Questioned about this discovery, an official of the Ben Arous hospital acknowledged that the said embryos were effectively buried by the services of this institution in 2008 and that only three of these fetuses were completely formed. The rest was only embryos or other organs, specifying that these remains came from natural and legal births and that the hospital took care to indicate on these boxes all the data concerning them.

The manager still wanted to deplore the way in which these embryos were unearthed and that an order was issued by the public prosecutor in order to allow the services of the municipality of places to bury them again.
