Each year, the World Press Photo exhibition is organized in Tunisia by the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in partnership with Tunisian cultural operators.
This year, the exhibition took place at the Cherif Fine Art area, in Sidi Bou Saïd, then will move to the International Cultural Center in Djerba, to Sidi JMour.

The best press photos around the world are thus praised by the Dutch organization World Press Photo which broadcasts its annual exhibition in 45 countries.

To accompany World Press Photo, we invite you to discover some of the exhibition photos of the exhibition which will be in Djerba from February 4 to 24.

The photo we publish, today, was taken by Javier Manzano, an American photographer of Mexican origin.

This photo taken from Ciudad Juarez, Mexico, is a testimony to the extreme violence that reigns over the American-Mexican border. A head lies in the middle of a desolate road. The victim was a man caught in ambush while driving with his family … Terrible shot, terrible reality!
