The Tunisian Football Federation (FTF) announced that the Carthage Aigles will receive Liberia on Thursday, September 4, 2025, at the Hamadi Agrebi stadium in Radès (8:00 p.m.), as part of the 7th day of African Qualifications for the 2026 World Cup.

In a statement published on its official page on Saturday, the FTF said that the meeting against Liberia will count for the 7th day of the group H. Four days later, on September 8, Tunisia will travel to Malabo to face Equatorial Guinea, at 2:00 p.m., on behalf of the 8th day.
The last two meetings, Sao Tomé-et-Principe-Tunisia (9th day) and Tunisia-Namibia (10th day) are scheduled for October.
Group H classification before the two shocks
Before these two decisive meetings, Tunisia occupies the first place in group H with 16 points, in front of Namibia (12 points), Liberia (10 points), Equatorial Guinea (7 points), Malawi (6 points) and Sao Tomé-et-Principe (0 point).
The Carthage Eagles aim to consolidate their leadership and get closer to a direct qualification for the 2026 World Cup.
