The draw for the 11th edition of the Arab Cup of Nations, which was held this Sunday for the Qatar 2025 edition, placed Tunisia in group A alongside the organizing country, Qatar.
Two other teams will complete this group after the qualification matches between Syria and South Sudan, on the one hand, and Palestine and Libya, on the other.
Composition of groups in the final phase:
Group A: Qatar, Tunisia, Syria or Sudan from the South, Palestine or Libya
Group B: Morocco, Saudi Arabia, Oman or Somalia, Yemen or Comoros
Group C: Egypt, Jordan, United Arab Emirates, Kuwait or Mauritania
Group D: Algeria, Iraq, Bahrain or Djibouti, Lebanon or Sudan
The competition will take place in Qatar from December 1 to 18, 2025. It will be the second edition organized under the aegis of FIFA.
Historical winner of the first edition in 1963 in Lebanon, Tunisia will try to take revenge after its defeat in the final of the 2021 edition against Algeria (0-2 after extra time), also disputed in Qatar.
