The Arab Beach Aviron Championship (Beach Sprints), which was held this weekend in Hammamet, dedicated Tunisian rowers. The latter won 10 medals including 9 gold medals.
Tunisia has thus ranked at the top of the ranking in front of Algeria 2nd (1 gold and 8 silver), Morocco 3rd (1 silver and 7 bronze), Libya and Kuwait sharing 4th place with a bronze medal each.
The Tunisian gold medals were won by Khadija Krimi (Solo Seniors), Mohamed Ettaieb (Solo Seniors), Hela Belhaj Mohamed (Solo Juniors), Mohamed Rayène Hafsa (Solo Juniors), the Sarra Zammali-Sahar Moumni (double seniors) pair, the duo aicha Abdelazizz-Hela Belhaj Mohamed (Double Juniors), the Tandem Mohamed Amine Herchi-Ahmed Talbi (Double Juniors), the Pair Khadija Krimi-Heni Sbaitia (senior mixed double) and the duo Mohamed Rarene Hafsa-Hela Belhaj (Junior double mixed).
The silver medal was won by the duo Heni Sbaitia-Clel frigui with double seniors.
