The Monastirian sports union announced yesterday the end of his collaboration with coach Faouzi Benzarti, as part of an amicable agreement between the two parties.
In a statement, the club expressed its gratitude towards the Tunisian technician for “the services rendered to the team”, welcoming his professionalism and the experience he showed throughout his mandate at the head of the technical staff.
Under the direction of Faouzi Benzarti, the US Monastir had a remarkable season, concluded in second place in the Ligue 1 championship, synonymous with qualification for the next African Champions League.
The club is also preparing to play a dam match against the Tunisian stadium to designate the opponent of the Esperance of Tunis in Tunisia Super Cup.
The Monastirian management has not yet communicated on the identity of the future coach.
