As part of the 3rd day of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers, Tunisia took over on Equatorial Guinea with a 1-0 victory.

The meeting, which took place this Wednesday in Radès, was marked by a solid performance of the national team, which was able to take advantage of the faux-pas de la Namibie against Liberia (1-1) a few hours earlier.
Thanks to this result, Tunisia takes the head of group H, with a total of 9 points and a lead of two units on Namibia. Despite an impactful match, the Carthage Eagles managed to take the ascendant thanks to a penalty transformed by Mohamed Ali Ben Romdhane in the 81st minute.

This victory allows Tunisia to consolidate its position as a leader in these qualifiers, thus offering good prospects for qualifying for the 2026 World Cup. Determination and efficiency were the watchwords of this meeting, testifying to the seriousness of the Tunisian team in its quest towards the Grail of world football.
