Already qualified for the 2026 World Cup, Tunisia did not let up this Friday at the Hamadi Agrebi stadium in Radès. Sami Trabelsi’s men scored a resounding victory (6-0) against Sao Tome and Principe during the 9th day of the African qualifiers, confirming their total domination of Group H.
An offensive recital in Radès
The Carthage Eagles quickly took the lead thanks to Firas Chawat (36′), before Elias Saad scored a quick double (39′, 43′).
From the restart, Ismael Gharbi worsened the score (47′), then Mohamed Ali Ben Romdhane, author of a double including a penalty in the 68th minute, closed the festival in the 91st.
Faced with an overwhelmed opponent, Tunisia delivered a successful performance, combining efficiency, control and realism.
With 25 points on the clock, Tunisia, already qualified, consolidates its status as undisputed leader of Group H.
