Tunisia ranks 6th at the World Baseball 5

The Tunisian Baseball 5 selection closed its participation in the first edition of the discipline World Cup, ranking sixth.

During this World Cup, which ended yesterday in Mexico City, the Tunisian Baseball 5 selection, which participated as a representative of Africa, ranked 3rd in his group in the first round.

The Tunisians beat Kenya (2-1) and South Korea (2-0), against three defeats against Taiwan, France (European champion) and Venezuela.

In the second round, which saw the participation of 12 countries, Tunisia was beaten by Cuba (0-8), which won the World Cup, then by Mexico (3-7) and finally by Japan (1-2).

The Tunisian selection is made up of Sourour Missaoui, Wiem Trabelsi, Molka Jlajla, Aicha Saidani, Helmi Ben Moumen, Aziz Chetioui, Baligh Mahmedoui, Marwane Sioud, and led by Yahia Kadra.
