Tunisia pockets $ 10.5 million, Morocco wins 25

The winner of the Qatar World Cup 2022 will receive a sacred pactole from FIFA.

If the World Cup winner will receive the tidy sum of $ 42 million, an increase of $ 4 million compared to the 2018 World Cup in Russia, the other 31 selections will receive a beautiful jackpot.

Starting with Tunisia which will be satisfied with the minimum reserved for the participating teams eliminated in the 1st round. Thus, Tunisia will pocket $ 9 million after its participation in the World Cup in Qatar, in addition to an additional $ 1.5 million, in the form of preparation expenses. This is the case of the 16 nations eliminated on the sidelines of the group phase.

The teams eliminated in the knockout stages will receive $ 13 million. Those who have reached the quarterfinals without being able to qualify at the last square, will pocket $ 17 million.

The World Cup winner will pocket $ 42 million, the finalist will be satisfied with $ 30 million and the selection that will rank third, when the fourth will receive 25 million.

Morocco has thus guaranteed the sum of $ 25 million after reaching the semi-finals.

Introduced since the 1982 World Cup in Spain, the prize money has continued to increase in 40 years, the jackpot pocketed by the winner, going from $ 2.2 million in 1982 to 42 million in 2022.
