Two days after a disappointing draw against Mauritania, Tunisia plays a second friendly match against Jordan, this Friday, November 14 at 5:45 p.m. in Radès. A meeting awaited as a test of reaction, while the major deadlines of the winter are fast approaching.
The Tunisian selection returns to the Hamadi Agrebi stadium in Radès for a second meeting in 48 hours. The draw conceded on Wednesday against Mauritania (1-1), despite obvious domination, left a mixed impression: too many missed opportunities, too little impact in the decisive areas.
A disciplined opponent
For Sami Trabelsi and his staff, this meeting against Jordan therefore comes at the right time: a new test to gauge the group’s ability to react, correct technical approximations and reestablish certainties in the game.
Infrequent, the duels between Tunisia and Jordan generally smiled on the Eagles, who remain with two victories and a draw. But the Jordanian team, renowned for its rigor and commitment, represents a sufficiently structured opponent to assess the real level of the national selection.
A decisive cycle before Brazil, the Arab Cup and the CAN
With a list expanded to 36 players, Trabelsi intends to increase the number of tests, observe new profiles and adjust the collective mechanisms detected as fragile during the first match.
This Friday’s meeting is just one stage of a busy program: a prestigious clash against Brazil on November 18 in Lille, then the Arab Nations Cup in Qatar, before the CAN 2025 in Morocco.
