In view of the suite of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers, the Tunisian football selection will play three friendly games in June. The announcement was made by the Tunisian Football Federation (FTF) via its official page.
The Carthage Eagles will start this series of tests on June 2 in Tunis against Burkina Faso. They will then go to Morocco to face the Atlas Lions on June 7, before concluding their friendly tour against Guinea on June 10.
These confrontations are part of the preparation of the national team for future deadlines in qualifications at the 2026 World Cup.
After six days, Tunisia dominates group B with 16 points, ahead of Namibia (12 pts), Liberia (10 pts), Equatorial Guinea (7 pts), Malawi (6 pts) and Sao Tomé-et-Principe (0 pt).
As a reminder, the first of each of the nine African groups will drop their ticket directly for the World Cup, while the best four seconds will play a continental dam for a place in intercontinental dams.
The 2026 World Cup will take place from June 11 to July 19 in the United States, Canada and Mexico.
