The meeting, which took place at the El Jadida stadium in Morocco, quickly turned in favor of the Carthage Eagles, with an opening of the score from the 11th minute signed Ali Abdi.
The Gambia reacted almost immediately, equalizing three minutes later thanks to Ali Sowe. In the second half, in the 74th minute, Mohamed Ali Ben Romdhane sealed the victory for his family.
It should be recalled that Tunisia won in its first match against Madagascar (1-0), thanks to a goal from Ferjani Sassi in stoppage.
