Tunisia – FIFA Arab Cup 2025: The list of players selected by Sami Trabelsi

National coach Sami Trabelsi unveiled, this Friday, the list of players called to play in the FIFA Arab Cup Qatar-2025, scheduled from December 1 to 18. The Carthage Eagles will play in Group A alongside the host country, Qatar, while two other opponents will be known after the play-offs on November 25. Tunisia is aiming for a strong run after losing the 2021 final to Algeria.

Group A: a still partial draw for the Eagles

Tunisia already knows one of its opponents: Qatar, organizer of the tournament. The last two residents of the group will be determined after the Syria–South Sudan and Palestine–Libya play-offs.

As a reminder, sixteen teams divided into four groups are participating in the 11th Arab Nations Cup, the second under the aegis of FIFA.

Program

Winners of the first edition in 1963 in Lebanon, the Carthage Eagles remain marked by the final lost in 2021 in Qatar against Algeria (0-2 after extra time). This new edition represents the opportunity to reconnect with the summits.

Tunisia will begin its campaign on December 1:

  • December 1, 2025 at 2:00 p.m.: Tunisia – Winner Syria – South Sudan
  • December 4, 2025 at 3:30 p.m.: Tunisia – Winner Palestine – Libya
  • December 7, 2025 at 6:00 p.m.: Tunisia – Qatar
