Tunisia at the Winter Olympic Games. It is a first which is about to materialize.
Indeed, the Tunisian ski trio on snow, Jonathan Lurimi, Sophie Elghoul and Beya Mokrani are close to winning their qualification for the 2024 Winter Olympic Games planned in Gangwon in South Korea, next January.
The three skiers will prepare by taking part in tournaments before December in order to validate their tickets for the Winter Olympics and become the first Tunisian sportsmen to take part in the Winter Olympics.
Note that in the context of the strengthening of relations between the Tunisian National Olympic Committee (CNOT) and the active structures in the disciplines of winter sport, the president of the CNOT Mehrez Bousarene recently participated in the work of the Congress of the International Bobsleigh and Skeleton Federation which was held in Barcelona.
