The national football selection won five places in the FIFA ranking, updated this Thursday, September 19 and is now 36th in the world.
The Carthage Eagles having gained points during their last two outings in the eliminatory phase of the CAN 2025 against Madagascar (1-0) and the Gambia (2-1), however, did not regain the rank which was theirs.
After its tumble last February, from the 28th to 41st position, the national selection has long been fixed at this 41st place on a global scale and the 6th on a continental scale.
In Africa, Carthage Eagles are classified behind Morocco (14th in the world), Senegal (21st), Egypt (31st) and Côte d’Ivoire (33rd).
The FIFA ranking is still dominated by Argentina (1st), France arriving in 2nd position in front of Spain, England and Brazil.
