Day after day, the Nejib Belhedi affair is growing. Last twist, WOWSA (World Organization for Swimming Water Swimming) contradicts the statements of the Tunisian swimmer, saying that he had received no element on this possible feat.

In a press release made public this Tuesday, June 21, the organization says it is not aware of this whole process started by the Tunisian swimmer, and that she will try to certify it in the event of the existence of concrete elements.

This version denies that put forward by Nejib Belhedi, the latter claiming that his feat was carried out under the aegis of this organization, of which he is a member.

For its part, the Ministry of Youth and Sports announced in a statement, that following the controversy aroused by the exploit of the swimmer Nejib Belhedi, it was decided to start an investigation.

The controversy always swells around this case. While several people including swimmers such as Oussema Mellouli and Faten Ghattas question the controversial feat of Nejib Belhedi, the latter broke the silence by highlighting strange affirmations.

Indeed, trying to protect his credibility, Belhedi said he was swimming during his sleep, thanks to the sea current.

For him, this feat is very real and has been documented by an international organization and that all the details will be revealed soon.
