The Ministry of Youth and Sports reacts to the case of the support match between ES Métlaoui and ES Hammam-Sousse.
The spokesperson and director of legal affairs at the Ministry of Youth and Sports, Chokri Hamda, in fact announced that his department refused the decision taken by the Tunisian Football Federation (FTF) to impose the organization of a support match between ES Hammam-Sousse and ES Metlaoui.
The ministry refuses this idea and considers that this is a decision that has no legal trace, thereby announcing that the law will be applied against any federation accused of missing its duties.
Decisions can go as far as the federal office, adding that the ministry inspection is preparing a file relating to the FTF concerning any overruns. He indicated, in this sense that the FTF is not allowed to change the rules of the game along the way.
Support match between ESM and ESHS
Or the art of set fire to the powder!
But what a fly therefore stung the disciplinary and fair-play commission of the Tunisian Football Federation (FTF) by deciding to cancel the relegation of ES Métlaoui in Ligue 2 and to make it play a support match which will oppose it to the Hammam-Sousse? A decision that is especially likely to set fire to the powder.
The Playout had delivered its verdict with the relegation of ES Zarzis and ES Métlaoui in particular after the controversial match between the Zarzissians and the Hammam-Sousse during which the Sahelis had equalized to the 100 ‘, thus saving their place among the elite and sending the ESM in League 2. Zarzissians were accused of passivity on the action in question.
The decision taken to play a support match between ESM and ESHS was rejected by Sahelian leaders. They refuse to play this match believing that on the action of the polemical goal, the players of the ESHS assume no responsibility for the passivity of the ESZ players and therefore have nothing to blame themselves for.
The FTF’s decision grants the ESM a new chance to stay in Ligue 1. Why would it not be granted to ESZ? This decision threatens the eshs again while this team saved its skin in Ligue 1 just like the OB! Wouldn’t it have been necessary to take truly exemplary sanctions such as the double demotion for the Zarzissians or make it squarely replay this last day of the Playout?
Since this decision, it heats up in Zarzis after the heavy sanctions imposed on Wael Kordi and Hassan Houssem Ramdhane (5 years of suspension with a fine of 50 thousand dinars) and the cancellation of the relegation of ESM. The supporters expressed it by cutting the roads. In Hammam-Sousse, Eshs supporters threaten to raise their tone if their team is deprived of its maintenance.
