The season is over for Ons Jabeur. A full season during which the world number 6 won two titles (Charleston and Ningbo) and reached the Wimbledon final.

But ons Jabeur, who distinguished himself throughout the year, has become a real icon in Tunisia and never misses the opportunity to show his greatness of soul and his generosity.

Ons Jabeur published a message on her Twitter account in which she thanks all those who accompanied her during this year while passing a new message of peace.

“Another season ends with its share of smiles, sweat and tears. A big thank you to my team and here is another season full of joy and greatness and, hopefully, a more peaceful world, “she wrote.

On November 2, on the sidelines of his victory over the Czech Marketa Vondrousova in Cancun on behalf of the Masters WTA, Ons Jabeur had indeed been able to hold back his tears. “Excuse me, it’s very difficult for me to play in these circumstances while babies die every day under the bombs,” she said.

“It is not a political message, it is a story of humanity. All I want is peace, “she said, tears in her eyes, announcing in the process that she was going to donate part of her earnings to the Palestinians.

In addition, the Tunisian tenniswoman must still play a last match before ending its season. It will be facing Anett Kontaveit in an exhibition match.

The Estonian chose Ons Jabeur to play this farewell match which will take place on November 11 in Talinn in Estonia.
