Judo will be at the party this week with the Tunis International Open (all categories), a traditional meeting, which will take place from March 9 to 12 at the Radès omnisports hall. A total of 179 judokas (112 men, 67 ladies) representing 42 countries are expected.
The traditional meeting in Tunis will bring together this year 21 African countries, 6 Asians, 10 Europeans, 2 of Oceania and 3 Pan American, announced the International Judo Federation.
The tournament will kick off on March 9 with the competitions in the cadet and younger categories, while the juniors will enter the scene on March 10 and the seniors on March 11 and 12.
The gold medalists from senior categories will gain 100 points in the world ranking while silver medalists will be awarded 70 points and the 50 -point bronze medalists.
