In the perspective of the next general meeting of March 9, 2024, which should make it possible to set up a new federal office, the FTF opened, today, the door to applications for the post of president.
The Tunisian Football Federation announced, in a statement published this Monday, February 5, 2024, the opening of candidates for the presidency of the football body as well as for members of the Federal Bureau.
In its press release, the FTF invites the candidate lists to submit their application between February 8 and 17, 2024 with the view of the elective general meeting, which will be held on Saturday March 9, 2024.
The FTF convened, on January 30, an elective general meeting for the period 2024-2028 while the mandate of the current federal office, chaired by Wadii Jary, arrives in the long term.
Wadii Jary has been incarcerated since October 5, 2023 and it was Wassef Jalil, vice-president of the FTF, who took over until March 9.
