The Federal Office has decided to grant the right to disseminate Ligue 1 to TV channels and Watchnow until the end of October, the date of the final examination of all offers and after the end of the negotiations by commissions with the participation of club presidents.
The FTF also announced that a contract will be signed with the Al Kass TV channel, which has made an offer that meets the requests listed in the specifications.
The Tunisian television establishment made an offer of 2,250 million dinars (half of the price set in the FTF specifications).
As for Attassia TV, she participated in the offer for the right of access and three -minute shooting. The offer is lower than the sum registered in the contract of the previous year and not reaching the sum inscribed in the specifications.
Carthage + presented an offer equal to that of Attassia TV and half of the amount listed last season. It is lower than the sum registered in the specifications.
The Federal Office has instructed a committee formed from Wassef Jelaïel, Amine Mougou, Hichem Dhib and Mohamed Larbi to continue negotiations with the Tunisian television establishment, Attassia TV and Carthage +. The presidents of Ligue 1 clubs are invited to charge three presidents to be part of this committee.
In the event of disagreement, the FTF will claim a meeting with the Minister of Finance and the government’s head, can be read in the FTF press release. In the event of persistence of the disagreement, an urgent meeting will be organized with the clubs to fix the alternatives, including to each club the right of dissemination against an agreement with the FTF. This is a measure in force in certain championships.
In terms of livestreaming, the FTF indicated that the company “Watchnow” has made an offer for the retransmission of all matches. The Federal Office has decided to charge the same committee to negotiate with the company.
