The Tunisian Football Federation (FTF) firmly condemned the racist insults made against Hannibal Mejbri, Saturday evening during the match between its team, the Burnley FC, of Preston North End.
The FTF expressed its full support for the player and insisted on the need to put in place effective measures to fight against racism in sport. The Federation also calls for severe sanctions against managers of such acts.
Finally, the Federation sent a call to the English Football Federation and the management of Burnley FC, encouraging them not to underestimate these racist insults and to express their solidarity towards Hannibal Mejbri.
