The controversy around the start of the Ligue 1 championship is at its height. At a time when the Tunisian Football Federation (FTF) has decided to set off the new season at the next weekend after a first postponement, the Minister of Sports comes to bring details.
The Minister of Youth and Sports Kamel Deguiche reiterated today, during a press briefing, his “advice” addressed to the FTF by asking him to make a new draw of the calendar.
The FTF began to have wanted to play the 1st day of the Ligue 1 championship, last Friday, when the Ministry of Youth and Sports invited it to take the necessary measures for the revision of the system and calendar of the Ligue 1 championship.
The FTF then had to announce the postponement of the inaugural day of the championship following the instructions provided by the security authorities with regard to the impossibility of ensuring the meetings of this 1st day.
In the event of threats to social peace, the minister threatened to block the season in Ligue 1 again.
All this controversy follows the reintegration of the Chebbian sports crescent (CSC) in Ligue 1 after a decision by the Arbitral Sports Tribunal. And following this decision, the FTF had still decided to maintain the start of the championship.
Business to follow!
