Thanks to this success, the Tunisian player is now climbing in 142ᵉ place in the world, his best career ranking. This breakthrough brings him closer to the top 100, a goal that no Tunisian player has reached for several years.
“It is an immense pride to represent Tunisia at this level. I will continue to work to reach the top 100, ”said Echargui after his coronation in France.

Behind him, Aziz Dougaz continues his progression with a 208ᵉ place (+5), while Ziz Ouakaa stabilizes at 622ᵉ row (+1).
Ons jabeur scrapes a place in the WTA ranking
Among the ladies, despite his absence of courts since July, Ons Jabeur has been progressing by a rank and is now 77ᵉ in the world with 893 points. The Triple Finalist in Grand Chelem is currently devoting to her tennis academy in Dubai.
