Despite his defeat on Sunday against Frenchman Luca Van Assche (170th in the world) with a score of 7/5, 6/7, 1/6, during the final round of qualifying for the ATP 250 tournament in Metz (Moselle Open), the Tunisian player continues to collect points. His regular career on the secondary circuit and his recent results have allowed him to gain a place and settle among the top 150 in the world, an unprecedented ranking in his career.
Two other Tunisians appear in the ATP rankings. Aziz Dougaz is at 289e place while Aziz Ouakaa is positioned at 663e rank.
